We opened J-Hoppers Takayama in May, 2009. A former Ryokan was remodeled to a Japanese style Hostel equipped with timbered roomy dorm beds.
There are various type of common rooms in the hostel such as TV room, Japanese style living room and hideout-dining room. Not only Old private house, but also a thatched roof known as "gassho-zukuri," in Shirakawago and Hot Spring in Hirayu and Gero would be must-see tourist sights. Ski and hiking could also be activities nearby.
